Yay for a two hour bus ride. I'm looking forward to a walk in the park and historic things. We're staying in a hotel somewhat outside of Killarney near a park that Edward attests may be one of the loveliest inland places in Ireland. Perfect for some R & R. We'll still be going into town to do some shopping and for the lunch and dinner API is taking us out to. Apparently we have the option to watch the Ireland vs. Scotland game for lunch. I'm just ready to relax awhile.
Meanwhile, Laurie and I were extras in a film yesterday. When we arrived at our Anglo-Irish Literature class there was a film crew and a couple of actors milling about. Laurie and I, along with the rest of the class, got to do what we normally do...pretend to take notes while doodling. An actor gave a speech about the environment several times. The class was filmed from different angles. We even had to pretend to get up and leave after class ended a couple times, while another actor descended the steps amongst us.
Well, we're planning on getting up at 8 in the morning to make sure we actually get to the bus on time. In other words, good night!
